Oru Veedu Oru Ulagam(1978)
Oru Veedu Oru Ulagam is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and written by Durai from a story by G. Lalitha. The film stars Srikanth and Shoba in lead roles, with Major Sundarrajan, Delhi Ganesh, Suruli Rajan, Pandari Bai, and Vijay Babu in supporting roles. The story follows Gowri, a young Brahmin woman who fights for her education, marries a kind man, and is forced into a life of widowhood after his accidental death. Her father-in-law ARK challenges traditional customs to arrange her remarriage. The film won Durai the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Director. It was released on 1 December 1978 and runs for 130 minutes.

Storyline
