The story follows a divine child named Vadivelan who performs miracles to help villagers facing illness, forced marriages, and injustice. The film was shot on location in Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Malaysia. It won Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Child Artist, Best Music Director, and a Special Prize for Best Film. Storyline
