Chakravarthi(1977)
'Chakravarthi' is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju. The film stars Jaishankar, Srikanth, Thengai Srinivasan, and S. A. Ashokan. The story follows a wealthy surgeon whose short temper destroys his friendship with a childhood friend who becomes a police officer. The surgeon later redeems himself by rescuing the officer's wife from assault and his sister from slum poverty. The film was produced by P. V. T. Productions with story and dialogues written by Mahendran. The soundtrack was composed by V. Kumar with lyrics by Kannadasan. Originally, Sivaji Ganesan and Sujatha were announced as the lead pair in mid-1976, but the roles eventually went to Jaishankar and another actress. The film's final length measured 4,281.54 metres.

Storyline
A hot-tempered surgeon named Chakravarthy loses his best friend Ranjit, a police officer, due to misunderstandings. When Ranjit's wife is attacked and his sister is trapped in the slums, Chakravarthy risks everything to save them. Can his actions heal their broken friendship?
