Kai Niraya Kaasu(1974)
Kai Niraya Kaasu is a 1974 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by A. B. Raj and written by Moulee from a story by Dharmaraj. The film stars Nagesh and Prameela in lead roles, with M. R. R. Vasu, Thengai Srinivasan, Srikanth, Moulee, Master Rajkumar, A. Sakunthala, Sachu, L. Kanchana, and S. N. Lakshmi in supporting roles. The story follows Ramu, an honest but foolish man who loses every job and attempts suicide, only to be saved repeatedly by a woman named Prameela. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film began production in late September 1973 at Mysore Premier Studio. It was released on 8 March 1974. In 2023, Film Companion named it one of Nagesh's best leading role performances, highlighting a hilariously staged action sequence.

Storyline
