Kanimuthu Paappa is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman in his directorial debut. The film stars Jaishankar, R. Muthuraman, Lakshmi, and Jaya, with Baby Sridevi in a pivotal child role. The story follows an orphaned girl named Pappa who is adopted by a compassionate doctor after her mother's death. The narrative explores societal prejudice against single men adopting female children and the power of unconditional love. The film was produced by S. Subramaniya Reddiyar under Sri Navaneedha Films. Its music was composed by T. V. Raju with lyrics by Poovai Senguttuvan. The film was released on 26 May 1972.

Storyline
