Nadu Iravil(1970)
Nadu Iravil is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed and produced by S. Balachander. The cast includes Major Sundarrajan, Pandari Bai, S. Balachander, Sowcar Janaki, and Cho Ramaswamy. The story follows a dying wealthy man who invites his estranged siblings to his isolated island home, where they are murdered one by one. The film is an adaptation of Agatha Christie's 1939 novel And Then There Were None. It was praised for its direction and cinematography by The Indian Express. The film was completed in 1964–1965 but released in 1970 after Balachander distributed it himself. It became a major commercial success.
