Kuzhandhai Ullam(1969)
Kuzhandhai Ullam is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed, produced, and written by Savitri. The film stars Gemini Ganesan, Sowcar Janaki, and Vanisri in lead roles. The story follows a rich painter who falls in love with a tribal girl in a forest, unknowingly marries her, and later is forced into a city marriage by his mother. The narrative explores the resulting emotional conflict and the healing power of children's innocence. A remake of Savitri's Telugu film Chinnari Papalu (1968), the film was released on 14 January 1969 during Pongal and achieved average commercial success.

Storyline
A wealthy painter named Ravi meets a tribal girl named Kanni in a forest and falls in love. After spending a night together, he returns home and is forced by his mother to marry a city girl. Years later, Kanni arrives with two children, revealing they were already married. Ravi must choose between his two families.
