Bhavani(1967)
Bhavani is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by T. R. Ramanna and written by K. S. Gopalakrishnan. The film stars Jaishankar and Vijayakumari in lead roles, with L. Vijayalakshmi, Vanisri, and Manorama in supporting parts. The story follows a young village woman who hides a secret from her past while trying to build a future with the man she loves. When a blackmailer from her past arrives, her life begins to unravel. The film features a soundtrack composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Kannadasan. Produced by D. K. Shankar under Anna Productions, Bhavani was released on 5 August 1967 and distributed by Eveyaar Films.
