
Anbe Vaa(1966)
Anbe Vaa (transl. Come, My Love) is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran and B. Saroja Devi, with S. A. Ashokan, Nagesh, T. R. Ramachandran, and Manorama in supporting roles. Based on the 1961 American film Come September, it follows a wealthy industrialist who goes on vacation to his Shimla bungalow, only to find it rented to a family. He pretends to be his own secretary to stay in the house, leading to romantic complications. The film was AVM Productions' first colour film, shot in Eastmancolor, and was praised for Ramachandran's performance in a non-action role. It was a commercial success, running for over 23 weeks, and is considered a cult classic in Tamil cinema.

Storyline
A rich industrialist named JB escapes his busy life for a vacation at his Shimla bungalow. But his caretaker has rented the house to a family from Bangalore. Instead of revealing his identity, JB pretends to be his own secretary. He falls in love with the daughter, Geetha, but his lies and her pride threaten to tear them apart.
