Padagasalai is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by J. Tamil. The cast includes Saleel Hussain, Iniya, Bonda Mani, and Scissor Manohar. Set in the villages of Melkattapattu and Keelkattapattu near Karaikudi, the story follows a twenty-year-old conflict between the two communities. Storyline
Two neighboring villages have been enemies for twenty years. Muthu, a young man from one village, secretly befriends people from the other side. He falls in love with a girl from the rival village. When a death reignites the old conflict, Muthu must find a way to bring peace before the hatred destroys everything.
