Thattungal Thirakkappadum (transl. Knock, and the door will be opened) is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by J. P. Chandrababu. The film stars Savitri Ganesh, K. R. Vijaya, J. P. Chandrababu, and Manohar in lead roles. The story follows a businessman who fakes his death for insurance money, leading to a chain of murders and a wrongful arrest. The film features a mute orphan who becomes the scapegoat for a crime he did not commit. It was Chandrababu's directorial debut and marked the first film appearance of child artist Shoba. The film was a commercial failure due to a weak plot. It was released on 17 June 1966.

Storyline
