Enga Veettu Penn(1965)
Enga Veettu Penn is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Tapi Chanakya. The ensemble cast includes M. R. Radha, S. V. Subbaiah, A. V. M. Rajan, Jaishankar, Nagesh, and Nirmala (later known as Vijaya Nirmala). The story follows Lakshmi, a young woman who fights to save her family from a cruel moneylender named Nagalingam. Set in a rural Tamil village, the film explores themes of debt, family loyalty, and justice. It is a remake of the Telugu film Shavukaru (1950) and was produced by Vijaya Combines Productions. The film received mixed reviews but was noted for its strong performances and heartwarming story. It was released on Diwali day, 23 October 1965.

Storyline
