Kannadi Maligai(1962)
Kannadi Maligai is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Sami-Mahesh. The film stars T. R. Radharani, M. R. Radha, S. A. Ashokan, V. Nagayya, and S. D. Subbulakshmi. The story follows Rani, a tea estate worker who becomes a masked vigilante after her lover steals their baby. She discovers she is the lost daughter of a wealthy zamindar while hunting down criminals. The film was shot in black and white at Hogenakkal and Gobichettipalayam. M. R. Radha was paid ₹60,000 for his role. Despite positive reviews from critics, the film was not commercially successful. The Telugu dubbed version Addala Meda also failed at the box office.

Storyline
A tea estate worker named Rani is betrayed by her lover Ratnam, who steals their newborn daughter. Heartbroken and angry, Rani becomes a masked vigilante and starts hunting criminals. She must expose Ratnam and his partner Manohar while searching for her lost child and uncovering her own hidden past.
