Bhagyalakshmi(1961)
'Bhagyalakshmi' is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by K. V. Srinivasan. The film stars Gemini Ganesan as Dr. Sundar and Sowcar Janaki as Kamala, a young widow. The story follows Kamala's search for her husband, who she believes survived a fatal accident. The film was produced by Pattanna under the Narayanan Company banner. Music was composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy, with lyrics by Kannadasan. The song 'Maalai Pozhudhin' became a major hit. Cinematography was by G. Balakrishna, and editing by S. R. Chandrasekaran and K. A. Sriramulu. The film was shot at Majestic, Narasu, and Prasath studios. It was released on 7 November 1961.
