Marutha Nattu Veeran is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language swashbuckler film directed by T. R. Raghunath. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as the heroic guard Jeevagan, alongside Jamuna, P. S. Veerappa, and P. Kannamba. Set in the fictional Marutha kingdom, the story follows Jeevagan who is appointed to protect Princess Rathna. When a treacherous minister frames him for treason, Jeevagan must fight to clear his name and save the kingdom from an invading Sultan. The film features a score by S. V. Venkatraman and lyrics by Kannadasan. The Indian Express praised the performances of the lead cast. It was released on 24 August 1961.

Storyline
