Yeh Vaada Raha is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Kapil Kapoor. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Tina Munim, Rakhee Gulzar, and Shammi Kapoor. The story follows Vikram Rai Bahadur, a wealthy man who falls in love with a poor singer named Sunita. After a car crash leaves Sunita disfigured, she undergoes plastic surgery and takes a new identity. The film explores themes of love, memory, and class conflict. It is inspired by Danielle Steel's novel 'The Promise'. Yeh Vaada Raha is notable for being one of the first Hindi films to use two actresses to portray the same character after plastic surgery. Jaya Bhaduri provided the voice for both actresses. The film features a popular soundtrack composed by R. D. Burman. It was released on April 9, 1982, in India.

Storyline
Vikram Rai Bahadur, a rich man, falls in love with Sunita, a poor singer. His mother opposes their marriage. When they try to elope, a car crash leaves Vikram in a coma and Sunita disfigured. After plastic surgery, Sunita gets a new face. She must find a way to make Vikram remember their love, while his mother's lies keep them apart.
