Geet Gaata Chal(1980)
Geet Gaata Chal is a 1975 Indian Hindi musical drama film directed by Hiren Nag and produced by Tarachand Barjatya under the Rajshri Productions banner. The film stars Sachin Pilgaonkar as Shyam and Sarika as Radha, with Madan Puri, Padma Khanna, and Leela Mishra in supporting roles. The story follows Shyam, a free-spirited orphan who earns his living by singing and dancing, and is taken in by a kind family. He forms a bond with their daughter Radha but flees when faced with the prospect of marriage, fearing the loss of his freedom. The film is loosely adapted from Rabindranath Tagore's short story Atithi. Its music, composed by Ravindra Jain, became widely popular. Storyline
Shyam is a wandering singer who loves his freedom. A kind family takes him in, and their daughter Radha falls in love with him.
