'Va' is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language black comedy film written and directed by Pushkar–Gayatri. The film stars Shiva, SPB Charan, and Lekha Washington in lead roles, with Kalyan, John Vijay, and Abhinayashree in supporting parts. The story unfolds over a single night as a man named Sunderrajan hunts for a quarter bottle of liquor before departing for Saudi Arabia. The film is notable for its non-linear narrative and its portrayal of Chennai's nightlife. It was shot primarily between 6 PM and 6 AM to capture the nocturnal setting. Produced by YNOT Studios and distributed by Cloud Nine Movies, 'Va' features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The film was released on 5 November 2010, during the Diwali festival.

Storyline
Sunderrajan is about to move to Saudi Arabia for work. He learns that alcohol is banned there. Desperate for one last drink, he teams up with his future brother-in-law Marthandam. Together, they search Chennai on a dry election night. Their hunt leads them through a series of dangerous and funny encounters.
