Storyline

A young orphan named Shyama loves to dance, but her strict aunt and uncle forbid it. After being beaten for sneaking out to see a famous dancer, she runs away with a friend named Gopal. They seek out a respected dance teacher, who finally agrees to train Shyama after seeing her talent.
