→Trivia
- The film's title 'Jaan-E-Bahaar' translates to 'Life of Spring', a poetic metaphor for the heroine's youthful spirit.
- Actor Rakesh Roshan, who played Gopi, was also a popular playback singer and sang one song for this film's soundtrack.
- The movie was released the same year as Rakesh Roshan's directorial debut, showing his transition behind the camera.
- It features music by R.D. Burman, but the songs did not achieve the massive popularity of his other 1979 hits like 'Gol Maal'.
- The plot of a wealthy girl falling for a truck driver mirrored a popular Bollywood trope of the era, focusing on class differences.
- Actress Neetu Singh, who played Kuku, was one of the top heroines of the 1970s but would retire from acting soon after this film.
- Director Prakash Kapoor was a veteran actor and director, known more for his work in the 1950s and 1960s than the late 1970s.
