Trivia
- The film was directed by Vijay Kapoor, who was the younger brother of famous actor-director Shammi Kapoor.
- It was one of the few films where actress Moushumi Chatterjee played a character named Seeta, a role she took on shortly after her comeback to cinema.
- The movie's music was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji, but it did not produce any major hit songs unlike many of their other soundtracks.
- Actor Shashi Kapoor was initially considered for the lead role, but the part eventually went to a less-known actor, Vijay Anand.
- The film's plot of a wealthy heir working incognito mirrored a common trope in 1970s Bollywood, similar to the earlier hit 'Bobby'.
- Despite featuring popular actors of the time, the movie had a very limited theatrical run and is not widely remembered today.
- Parts of the film were shot in Pune, which was a less common filming location compared to Mumbai or Kashmir in that era.
