Trivia

  • The film was inspired by a real-life incident where a family in Chennai claimed their car was haunted.
  • Director Dass Ramasamy also worked as an assistant director for the popular horror film 'Pisaasu' (2014).
  • The possessed car in the movie is a white Tata Indica, a common model on Indian roads, making the horror feel closer to home.
  • Actor Livingston, known for comic roles, played a serious cop character, which was a departure from his usual type.
  • The film's climax was shot in a single, lengthy night schedule at an isolated factory location to maintain tension.
  • Despite being a horror film, it includes social commentary on corruption and the justice system.
  • The movie had a limited theatrical release but found a wider audience through television broadcasts later.
