Daddy is a 2017 Hindi biographical crime drama film co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. It stars Arjun Rampal as gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli, alongside Aishwarya Rajesh in her Hindi film debut. The film follows Gawli's rise from the impoverished Dagdi Chawl in Mumbai to becoming a feared don and later a politician. It spans the 1970s and 1980s, depicting his rivalry with a crime boss based on Dawood Ibrahim. The film received mixed reviews from critics and was a commercial failure. Storyline
