Guru is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language sports drama film written and directed by Sudha Kongara. The film stars Venkatesh as Aditya Rao, a failed boxer turned coach, and Ritika Singh as Rameswari, a vegetable seller with raw boxing talent. The story follows Aadi as he discovers Ramulu in Vizag and trains her for the World Boxing Championship while battling a corrupt association head. The film is a remake of Kongara's own Tamil film Irudhi Suttru. It received unanimous positive reviews from critics for its performances and direction. Venkatesh won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his role. The film was released on 31 March 2017.

Storyline
