• Venkatesh personally requested director E.V.V. Satyanarayana to cast Nassar as the villain in Chanti (1992). He had seen Nassar's work in Tamil and felt only he could match the intensity of the role.
• In Shadow (2013), Nassar played Venkatesh's father. Venkatesh later said Nassar would quietly adjust his own dialogue delivery to match Venkatesh's rhythm, making their emotional scenes feel unscripted.
• Nassar and Venkatesh share a running joke about food. On every set, Nassar would bring homemade Tamil snacks from Chennai, and Venkatesh would bring Andhra sweets. They'd exchange tiffin boxes between shots.
• Venkatesh once told a press meet: 'Nassar sir doesn't act — he just becomes the character. I learned to stop acting and start reacting because of him.'
• The success of their comic timing in F2 (2019) directly led to the sequel F3 (2022). The producers specifically asked for both of them back, saying the audience loved their bickering more than the leads.
• In Guru (2017), Nassar improvised a 3-minute monologue in Telugu with zero cuts. Venkatesh, who was supposed to interrupt, stayed silent and let him finish. The director kept the take because Venkatesh's stunned reaction was real.
