Saaho is a 2019 Indian action thriller film written and directed by Sujeeth. It was produced by UV Creations and T-Series. The film stars Prabhas in the titular role, alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, and Neil Nitin Mukesh. It was filmed simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. The story follows a master thief who steals 2000 crore rupees and a police officer who uncovers a conspiracy linked to a crime syndicate. The film is set in the fictional Waaji City. It features high-budget action sequences choreographed by international stunt coordinator Kenny Bates. Saaho was released worldwide on 30 August 2019 in standard and IMAX formats. It received negative reviews for its script but was praised for its visuals and action. The film grossed over 400 crore rupees worldwide. Storyline
A master thief steals 2000 crore rupees in Mumbai. A police officer named Ashok Chakravarthy is assigned to catch him. But the thief is not who he seems. He is actually the hidden son of a crime lord. He wants revenge for his father's death. He must fight rival gangsters and uncover the truth. The chase leads to a secret black box and a city ruled by crime.
