Storyline
In 1947, Lord Mountbatten arrives in Delhi as the last Viceroy of India. He must transfer power and leave. But the country is torn by religious violence. A young Hindu servant, Jeet, falls in love with a Muslim woman, Aalia. Their love is threatened by the growing hate. Mountbatten must decide the fate of millions. Will he keep India united or divide it?
