Storyline
Arjun and Shanthi are newly married. Before their wedding night, Arjun's grandfather informs him that family tradition forbids him from touching his wife on the first night, or he forfeits his 300-crore wealth to an orphanage. Simultaneously, Shanthi's aunt tells her the opposite: she must ensure they consummate the marriage or she'll face the family curse of childlessness. This clash of family traditions creates the central conflict of the film, driving the dark comedy premise.
