• Their first film together, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku (2016), was a gamble. Director S. D. Vijay Milton cast both comedians as leads — unheard of at the time. Rajendran and Yogi Babu had to prove they could carry a film without a big hero. It worked, and they never stopped.
• In Gulaebaghavali (2018), Rajendran played the straight man to Yogi Babu's chaotic energy. Rajendran would deliberately pause his lines to let Yogi Babu improvise. Yogi Babu once said in an interview: 'He gives me space to breathe. That's rare.'
