Muni is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film stars Rajkiran, Lawrence, and Vedhika in lead roles. It follows Ganesh, a man with a severe fear of ghosts, who becomes possessed by the spirit of Muni. Muni seeks revenge against a corrupt MLA who murdered him and his daughter. The film blends supernatural horror with family comedy and social commentary. It received mixed reviews from critics but became a commercial success. Muni is the first installment in the popular Kanchana film series. The film was released on 9 March 2007.

Storyline
A man terrified of ghosts moves into a new house. An angry spirit named Muni possesses his body. The ghost wants revenge against the politician who killed him. The man must decide whether to fight the ghost or help it find justice.
