Trivia

  • The film's climax fight scene was shot in a specially constructed set in Hyderabad that replicated a Malaysian port.
  • Chiranjeevi performed a major underwater action sequence without a body double, which was a first in his career.
  • The character name 'Waltair Veerayya' is a nod to the Waltair region in Visakhapatnam, Chiranjeevi's hometown.
  • Director Bobby Kolli included a cameo by actor Brahmanandam as a tribute to his frequent collaborations with Chiranjeevi.
  • The movie's soundtrack features a folk-inspired song that uses traditional instruments like the dappu and thappeta.
  • A real-life smuggling case from the 1990s in coastal Andhra Pradesh loosely inspired the film's storyline.
