Evano Oruvan is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language psychological drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat. The film stars Madhavan as Sridhar Vasudevan, a middle-class marketing executive, alongside Sangeetha as his wife Vathsala. The story follows Sridhar as he becomes increasingly frustrated with the corruption and injustice around him. After being humiliated by a wealthy man, he purchases a gun and begins a violent crusade against those he believes have wronged him. The film is a remake of the 1993 Hollywood film Falling Down, adapted to the Indian social context. Storyline
Sridhar Vasudevan is an ordinary man tired of being pushed around. Corrupt politicians, rude rich people, and lazy police make his life miserable. One day, he snaps. He buys a gun and starts fighting back. But his quest for justice turns into a nightmare. He becomes a hunted criminal, and his family pays the price.
