
Jithan(2005)
Jithan (2005) is an Indian Tamil-language supernatural romantic thriller film directed by R. K. Vincent Selva. The film stars Ramesh in his Tamil debut and Pooja Umashankar, with Kalabhavan Mani, S. Ve. Shekher, and Livingston in supporting roles. R. Sarathkumar appears in a guest role as DCP Tamizharasu. The story follows Surya, a shy college student who becomes invisible after a desperate wish and uses his power to get closer to his crush, Priya. The film was produced by Radhika Sarathkumar's Raadan Mediaworks and shot simultaneously with the Hindi version Gayab (2004). Music was composed by Srikanth Deva. Jithan received positive reviews and became a commercial hit, leading to a sequel in 2020.

Storyline
Surya is an introverted college student who feels invisible to everyone, especially his crush Priya. After a desperate wish on a beach, he actually becomes invisible. He uses his power to get closer to Priya, but his actions attract police attention. A special team led by DCP Tamizharasu tries to capture him, leading to a tragic confrontation.
