Neeye Nijam(2005)
'Neeye Nijam' (transl. You are the truth) is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Indhran. The film stars Shaan Vijay, Sumesh, and Tejashree in lead roles, with Ajay Rathnam, Delhi Ganesh, and M. S. Bhaskar in supporting parts. Set in Kotagiri, the story follows Chandru who falls in love with Priya, but she rejects him due to a promise made to her deceased best friend. The film explores themes of sacrifice, friendship, and the true meaning of love. Produced by P. G. Sadasivan and V. Udhayakumar under Himalaya International, the film features music by John Peter and cinematography by Nirmal Raja. Originally titled 'En Kannil Yen Vizhunthai', the film was released on 27 May 2005 after a delay from November 2004.

Storyline
Chandru, a college student in Kotagiri, falls in love with Priya and proposes to her. She rejects him, and he refuses to give up. When Priya files a police complaint against him, Chandru learns the real reason for her refusal — a promise to marry her best friend's brother. Now he must decide between fighting for his love or sacrificing it for her happiness.
