Vaayai Moodi Pesavum is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language satirical romantic comedy film directed by Balaji Mohan. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles, with Madhoo, Arjunan, and Dev Ramnath in supporting roles. The story is set in the hill town of Panimalai, where a mysterious flu causes sudden muteness and spreads through speaking. The plot follows Aravind, a glue salesman who dreams of being a radio jockey, and Anjana, a doctor who believes silence solves problems. The film was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam, with the Malayalam version titled Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram. Principal photography took place in Munnar over 52 days in late 2013. Storyline
Aravind is a glue salesman who wants to be a radio jockey. He meets Anjana, a doctor who thinks talking causes all problems. When a strange flu makes people lose their voice, the town is forced into silence. Aravind must use his words to stop a feud, win Anjana's heart, and save his dream.
