Storyline
A famous writer named Nalangili refuses a top award to protest a water dispute. A poor milk seller named Thamarai secretly loves him. When she tries to meet him, he mistakes her for a prostitute and pays her for sex. She gives birth to his son and raises him alone. Years later, the son runs away and befriends his own father without knowing the truth.
