• Ramesh Khanna and Madhan Bob first shared screen space in Friends (2001) because director Siddique specifically wanted two actors who could play off each other's deadpan timing. Khanna was already a known writer, but Bob was a relative newcomer — the pairing was a gamble that paid off.
• In Idhaya Thirudan (2006), Khanna and Bob played a comedy duo where Khanna did the loud, reactive comedy while Bob stayed stone-faced. Bob later said in an interview that Khanna would deliberately mess up his lines to make him laugh on set — and the director kept those takes.
