'Anbae Anbae' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Mani Bharathi. The film stars Shaam as Cheenu and Sharmili as Vishali, with an ensemble supporting cast including Vivek, Yugendran, M. N. Nambiar, and Manorama. The story follows a large joint family that gathers for the 80th birthday of the patriarch Mahendra Bhoopathy. Tensions rise when two cousins, Cheenu and Shiva, both fall in love with the same woman, Vishali, while greedy relatives plot to seize the family property. The film is loosely based on the Hindi blockbuster 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' (1994). Music was composed by Bharadwaj. The film received mixed reviews from critics and was a commercial failure at the box office. It was released on 1 May 2003.

Storyline

Cheenu is the most loved grandson in a huge joint family. When his cousin Vishali arrives for their grandfather's birthday, he falls in love with her. But his selfish cousin Shiva also wants Vishali. As greedy relatives fight over property, Cheenu must choose between love and family loyalty.
