The network is led by a mysterious figure named Akash, whose identity remains hidden for most of the film. The film features music composed by A. R. Rahman and background score by Pravin Mani. It received mixed reviews, with critics praising the patriotic theme but criticizing the incoherent script and excessive violence. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Police Karthavyam in June 2003.

Storyline
