Trivia
- The film's director Deekay previously worked as an assistant director on several big-budget films, including the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Sivaji'.
- The movie's title 'Yaamirukka Bayamey' is a playful twist on a famous dialogue from the classic Tamil film 'Chandralekha'.
- This horror-comedy was shot primarily in a single bungalow location to create a claustrophobic and eerie atmosphere.
- Actor Kreshna, who plays the lead, is also a trained dancer and choreographed a song for another film around the same time.
- The film's music was composed by Achu, who is also known for his work in Telugu and Malayalam cinema during that period.
- Despite being a horror film, it heavily relies on situational comedy stemming from the characters' attempts to run a hotel.
- The movie's plot of a haunted property used as a business draws loose inspiration from older Tamil comedy-horror films like 'Darling Darling'.
