  • Director Thaha also co-wrote the story and screenplay, which was relatively common for directors in early 2000s Tamil cinema.
  • Actor P. Vasu, known primarily as a director, played a supporting role as the character Gayathri's father.
  • The comedy track featuring Vadivelu was heavily promoted, as his popularity was a major draw for audiences at the time.
  • The film's soundtrack was composed by Deva, a prolific composer known for his work in comedy and mass appeal films during that era.
  • Despite its multi-genre label, the film is primarily remembered as a comedy-drama centered on family and travel mishaps.
  • It was one of several 2002 releases attempting to blend comedy and action, following a popular trend in Tamil cinema post-2000.
