En Purushan Kuzhandhai Maadhiri(2001)
En Purushan Kuzhandhai Maadhiri is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film directed by S. P. Rajkumar. The lead cast includes Livingston, Devayani, and Vindhya in pivotal roles. The story follows Murugesan, a wealthy but illiterate village landlord, who accidentally sleeps with a dancer he rescued just before his wedding. His wife Maheshwari later discovers the truth, leading to a crisis of trust and forgiveness. The film blends broad comedy, particularly through Vadivelu's character, with melodramatic family conflict. Critics noted the tonal inconsistency but praised Vadivelu's performance. The music was composed by Deva. The film was later remade in Telugu as Maa Ayana Chanti Pilladu.
