Nee Varuvai Ena is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Rajakumaran in his directorial debut. The film stars Parthiban as Ganesh and Devayani as Nandhini, with Ajith Kumar appearing in a guest role as Subramani. The story follows Ganesh, a bank manager who loses his eyesight in a bus accident and later receives a corneal transplant from a deceased army officer. He falls in love with Nandhini, unaware that she was the fiancée of the eye donor. The film explores themes of fate, memory, and selfless love. It received positive reviews and became a commercial success at the box office. Rajakumaran won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Story Writer for this film. Nee Varuvai Ena released on 14 August 1999 and was later remade in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Storyline
Ganesh is a bank manager who dreams of getting married, but his parents' inter-caste marriage causes many rejections. After a bus accident blinds him, he receives an eye transplant and moves to a village for work. There, he falls for Nandhini, who cares for him deeply. But she hides a secret: the eyes he received belonged to her dead fiancé.
