Harichandra(1998)
Harichandra is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Cheyyar Ravi. The film stars Karthik as Harichandran and Meena as Nandhini, with Priya Raman, Chinni Jayanth, Vivek, Delhi Ganesh, and Sathyapriya in supporting roles. The story follows an ad filmmaker who habitually tells lies to help others but struggles to maintain honesty when he falls in love with a sharp-witted school principal. The film's title ironically references the truthful king Harishchandra, and its music was composed by the band Agosh. Two songs were filmed in Switzerland, Geneva, and London. The film received positive reviews for Karthik's performance and Cheyyar Ravi's direction. It was released on 15 May 1998 and later remade in Telugu as Harischandra in 1999.

Storyline
