Gurupaarvai(1998)
Gurupaarvai is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language thriller film written and directed by Manoj Kumar. The film stars Prakash Raj, Khushbu, and Anju Aravind in lead roles, with Thalaivasal Vijay, Manivannan, Easwari Rao, and Ramesh Khanna in supporting roles. The story follows Guru Moorthi, a mechanic who systematically destroys women who wronged him in a past life, while his wife Shanti uncovers his traumatic history. The narrative alternates between present-day revenge and a flashback revealing a false murder accusation that led to the destruction of his family. The film was noted for Prakash Raj's dual performance as a gentle lover and a cold avenger. It was remade in Telugu as Veedu Samanyudu Kaadu (1999) and in Hindi as Bhairav (2001). Storyline
