Trivia

  • This was the first film where director Sundarrajan worked with actor Vijay, who was still early in his career.
  • The film's title is a phrase from a popular Tamil devotional song, which loosely translates to 'I will wait for time.'
  • Actress Dimple, who played the female lead, was primarily known for her work in Malayalam cinema before this role.
  • The movie was released during a period when Vijay was transitioning from boy-next-door roles to more action-oriented characters.
  • A.R. Rahman composed the film's music, but it is considered one of his lesser-known soundtracks from the 1990s.
  • The story involves a college cultural function, a common setting in Tamil films of the 1990s to showcase music and youth conflict.
  • Despite starring a rising Vijay, the film did not achieve major box office success compared to his later hits.
