Trivia
- This film was the first and only directorial venture of A. R. Ramesh, who was primarily known as a producer.
- The movie's title 'Dhinamum Ennai Gavani' translates to 'Every Day You Embrace Me', which is a popular Tamil song lyric from an older film.
- Actor Sarathkumar, who plays the villain Rolex, performed many of his own action stunts without a body double.
- The film's soundtrack by Deva included a re-recording of his own hit song 'Nila Kaigirathu' from the 1991 film 'Chinna Thambi'.
- It was shot extensively in Mysore and Ooty, which was uncommon for a late-90s Tamil action thriller.
- The movie had a delayed release, completing filming in 1995 but not reaching theaters until 1997.
- A subplot involving the smuggling of ancient temple idols was inspired by real-life news reports from that era.
