
Coolie(1995)
Coolie is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed and written by P. Vasu. The film stars Sarathkumar as Karna, a factory worker turned union leader, and Meena as Vimala, the factory owner's daughter. The story is set in a factory where a wealthy owner, Loganathan (Radharavi), uses bribery and manipulation to control his workers. Karna refuses to be bought and fights for fair wages and respect. The film features a supporting cast including Raja, Kavitha Vijayakumar, Goundamani, and Senthil. Kavitha Vijayakumar made her only film appearance in this movie. The music was composed by Suresh Peters in his debut as a music director. Coolie opened in theaters on April 14, 1995, and received mixed reviews from critics, performing below expectations at the box office.

Storyline
Karna works as a coolie in a factory owned by the wealthy Loganathan. When the union leader is secretly bribed by the owner, Karna steps up to lead the workers in demanding fair wages. Loganathan tries to buy Karna with gifts, but Karna refuses. Family ties, betrayal, and a plan to burn the factory push Karna to his limits.
