Thamizhachi(1995)
Thamizhachi is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. Asokan. The film stars Napoleon as Rasayya and Ranjitha as Thamizhselvi, with Revathi appearing in a guest role as a reporter. The story follows a village couple whose lives are shattered when the wife kills a man in self-defence, leading her husband to take the blame and face execution. A reporter investigates the case and fights to prove the truth. The film features a supporting cast including Goundamani, Senthil, Vijayakumar, and Srividya. The soundtrack was composed by Deva with lyrics by Vairamuthu. Thamizhachi was released on 29 June 1995 and failed at the box office.
