Paattu Vaathiyar(1995)
Paattu Vaathiyar (transl. Music teacher) is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by T. P. Gajendran. The film stars Ramesh Aravind and Ranjitha in lead roles, with Jaishankar, Senthil, Raveendran, Ravikanth, Kovai Sarala, and Raghavi in supporting roles. Set in a village with strict traditions that forbid inter-village marriage and restrict women's movement, the story follows a city music teacher who falls in love with the village chief's daughter. Their relationship is threatened by a past honour killing and a revenge plot. The film features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vaali. It was released on 22 July 1995 and did not perform well at the box office.

Storyline
